De kaart
Sorgun Map Poster & Print
Sorgun lies on the Anatolian plateau in the province of Yozgat, in a landscape of open, rolling steppe and wide fields. On the map the town has a clear, compact shape. Streets run in a mostly regular grid, and the edges fall away sharply into farmland, with few suburbs blurring the line between town and country.
The town is best known in Turkey for its thermal springs, which have made it a destination for spa visitors, with hotels and facilities concentrated near the springs. Main roads connect Sorgun to Yozgat and to the other towns of the region, running straight across the plateau.
A Sorgun map poster emphasises the simplicity of the plateau: a well-defined town, straight roads, open land stretching in every direction. It is a map with room to breathe, and it suits anyone who knows the long views and wide skies of Central Anatolia.
