Uno Port
The ferry harbour and its piers form a sharp, geometric edge on the waterfront. Boats leave from here for Naoshima, Teshima and other islands of the Inland Sea.

Tamano Map Poster & Print
Tamano is at the southern tip of Okayama Prefecture, where the Kojima Peninsula meets the Seto Inland Sea. From above, the city follows the shoreline as a series of settlements separated by wooded hills, with small bays, harbours and beaches cutting into the coast. The islands offshore make the sea part of the composition rather than an empty margin.
Uno Port is the main ferry gateway to Naoshima and other islands known for contemporary art, and many visitors to the Setouchi Triennale start their trip here. Tamano also has a long shipbuilding history, with a large shipyard on part of its waterfront. Shibukawa beach draws summer visitors from across the region.
A Tamano map poster traces all of this in black line: the harbour basins and piers, the curved streets tucked between hills and water, and the outlines of the islands across the strait. The map sits halfway between land and sea, and it reads as clearly on a small print as on a large one.

Shipyard waterfront
Large industrial basins and slipways mark the shipbuilding district. Their straight lines and broad shapes stand out against the smaller residential streets behind them.
Coves and islands
The coastline curves in and out of bays and headlands, and islands are scattered offshore, so the sea becomes an active, well-defined part of the map.
