Taal Lake shore
The lake fills one side of the map with a large, quiet expanse of water. Its shoreline sets a clear natural limit against the city's roads.

Tanauan Map Poster & Print
Tanauan lies in Batangas province, on the northeastern shore of Taal Lake. On a map the lake takes up the southwest corner as a broad, smooth sheet of water. The urban area sits on the rising ground above it. The older town centre forms a denser knot of streets, and roads branch out from it towards neighbouring municipalities through a mix of subdivisions, farmland and industrial estates.
The city is best known as the birthplace of Apolinario Mabini, a leading intellectual of the Philippine Revolution and the first prime minister of the revolutionary republic. Tanauan is also part of the growing Calabarzon corridor south of Metro Manila. Its position on the expressway to Batangas has drawn new industry and housing.
A Tanauan map poster sets the calm outline of the lake against a busy network of barangay roads. The expressway runs through the landscape as a long, confident line. On the lower slopes towards the water, the street pattern thins out and gives way to fields. That creates an open edge that suits a monochrome design.

Expressway corridor
A major toll road runs through the municipality, a long straight line that contrasts with the irregular local roads branching around it.
Town centre
The historic core is the densest part of the map. Tight blocks there give way to looser subdivisions and farmland towards the edges.
