Instead of one core, the town has distinct districts of streets and houses. Each forms its own small cluster on the poster.

Teutônia Map Poster & Print
Teutônia lies in the Vale do Taquari in central Rio Grande do Sul, on rolling land east of the Taquari River. It has no single dense centre. Instead it is made up of several districts linked by roads that wind across hills and farmland. On a map these clusters appear as separate patches of streets, joined by curving lines through green countryside.
The name reflects the German immigrants who settled the area in the nineteenth century, and their influence still shows in local architecture, surnames and traditions. Teutônia has a strong dairy and food industry, and its economy is closely tied to the farmland that surrounds each of its districts.
A Teutônia map poster shows this unusual layout with several centres in detail. Each district is visible as its own group of streets, connected by roads that follow ridges and valleys, and the open land between them gives the design a relaxed feel. It is a good fit for anyone who knows the town by its separate neighbourhoods.

Winding connections
Roads curve over the hills between districts. They give the map long, flowing lines that tie the separate parts into one whole.
Farmland in between
Fields and pastures fill the space between neighbourhoods and leave open areas that make the clusters of streets stand out clearly on the page.
