Tieqiao Map Poster & Print
Tieqiao is a town in the north-east of Chongqing Municipality, in the steep, folded country north of the Yangtze. Unlike the flat grids of the plains, the map here is shaped by terrain: the built-up area follows the floor of a valley, and roads snake along hillsides, doubling back on themselves as they climb toward neighbouring villages.
Streams gather in the valleys and run toward the larger rivers of the Yangtze basin, and the land around the town is divided into small fields and terraces that follow the contours. Newer buildings concentrate along the main road, while farm paths spread thinly across the slopes, giving the map a light, branching structure.
A Tieqiao map poster is a portrait of how settlement adapts to mountains. The dense centre, the winding roads and the fine lines of watercourses together form an organic pattern that feels closer to a river system than to a planned town, and it reads well in any of the five styles.

Streams and terraces
Small watercourses and contour-following fields cover the slopes, filling the edges of the map with fine, delicate detail that rewards a close look.
