Motorway loops
At the Viernheimer Kreuz, where the A6 meets the A659, sweeping ramps and curves add a surprisingly graphic element to the map of a residential town.

De kaart
Viernheim Map Poster & Print
Viernheim lies at the southern tip of Hesse, on the border with Baden-Württemberg and directly northeast of Mannheim. It belongs to the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, yet it keeps the shape of a separate town. Its built-up area is clearly defined and surrounded by fields and a large stretch of forest, rather than merging into the city next door.
The centre is an older, fairly dense core of streets that grew over time, surrounded by residential districts laid out in more regular blocks. The motorways are impossible to miss on the map. The A6 and A659 meet just outside town at the Viernheimer Kreuz, and their ramps form bold, looping shapes against the fields.
Large areas of woodland spread around the town, crossed by long straight forest paths that look almost ruled on the page. A Viernheim map poster brings town, forest and motorway geometry together. It suits people who know the place as their hometown or as a quieter base just outside Mannheim.

Woodland near the town is crossed by long, straight paths. Together they form a faint geometric grid that contrasts with the denser streets.
Border location
Viernheim sits where Hesse meets Baden-Württemberg, with Mannheim's northern districts close by. On the map, fields and trees still separate the two.
