Villa Hidalgo Map Poster & Print
Villa Hidalgo lies in the Los Altos region of northeastern Jalisco, close to the border with Aguascalientes. The town grew on the familiar Mexican plan. Straight streets cross at right angles around a central plaza and parish church, and blocks spread outward in a regular grid. On the surrounding highland plain, the town reads as a tight, orderly rectangle.
Villa Hidalgo is widely known for its textile and clothing trade. Workshops and wholesale shops draw buyers from across the region, and the commercial streets near the centre are densely built. Outside the town, the dry farmland and ranch country of Los Altos opens up. Roads run straight across it towards neighbouring towns.
A Villa Hidalgo map poster suits families from Los Altos, including the many who have moved to other parts of Mexico or the United States. It shows the grid that organises daily life, plaza at the centre and trade on the streets around it, in clear and legible line art.

Waarom Villa Hidalgo
Een kaart met betekenis
Many people from Los Altos de Jalisco live far from their home towns and still count the plaza and its streets as the centre of their world. A map of Villa Hidalgo brings that grid home.
Personalise the title, add a family name or date in the subtitle, and edit the coordinates. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand works well for the dry highland setting.
