Roads that radiate
Several routes leave the town centre in different directions. On the poster they read as spokes, each one leading off toward the fields and neighbouring villages of Haut-Sassandra.

De kaart
Zaliohouan Map Poster & Print
Zaliohouan lies in the Sassandra-Marahoué district of central-western Ivory Coast, in the countryside east of Daloa. Like many towns in the region, it forms around a few main roads. Housing clusters along those roads and thins out gradually into the surrounding farmland. There is no rigid grid. Instead the street pattern loosens and fans out at the edges.
The land around it is agricultural. Tracks and footpaths head off in several directions toward fields and neighbouring villages, and they appear on the map as fine lines that fade into open space. This region lies within Ivory Coast's cocoa belt, and cultivated land, farm paths and remaining forest make up much of the setting.
A Zaliohouan map poster doesn't try to make the town look like somewhere else. It shows a compact centre, the roads leading out and the wide rural space between settlements. For anyone connected to the place, that honest outline is the point.

Compact centre
The most closely drawn streets sit at the heart of town where the main roads meet. This dense core gives the composition a clear focal point against the open land around it.
Farm tracks
At the edges the street network turns into thin tracks heading into farmland. These light lines give the outskirts a soft, feathered look that suits the Sand and Paper styles.
