Zouma Map Poster & Print
Zouma is a town in the eastern part of Chongqing municipality, in the hilly, heavily dissected country of the upper Yangtze region. Flat land is rare here, and from above the town's streets squeeze into the available valley floors and along ridges instead of forming a regular grid.
The countryside around it is a patchwork of terraced fields, small villages and wooded slopes, typical of rural Chongqing. Roads wind in long curves to follow the contours, and on a map they look like loose threads connecting settlements across uneven ground.
The town is small, and its built-up area takes up only part of the frame, with rural land filling the rest. A Zouma map poster shows the kind of place that makes up much of inland China, where the terrain decides the layout and every road bends around a hill.

Terraced countryside
Around the town, small terraced fields and scattered houses create a detailed pattern that fills the space between winding roads.
Winding roads
Roads leaving the town loop and switch back across the hills, forming long, flowing lines that give the map its movement.
