This Akhisar lies in the eastern part of Bursa province, not far from İnegöl. It should not be confused with the larger town of the same name in Manisa. On the map it appears as a modest cluster of streets surrounded by cultivated land, with roads leading out across the lowland to neighbouring villages and towns.
The Uludağ massif rises to the southwest and shapes the setting, while broad, gently sloping farmland spreads below it. Field boundaries and farm tracks divide the land into irregular plots.
