Al Finţās lies on the coast of the Al Aḩmadī Governorate, south of Kuwait City, where the land meets the waters of the Persian Gulf. On the map, the shoreline forms a long, clean edge along one side, and the town's streets are arranged in orderly blocks stretching inland from the sea.
Like many residential areas in Kuwait, it is organised into planned blocks with internal streets, local services and mosques, bounded by wider roads.
