Bānk is a census town in Indore district, Madhya Pradesh, on the edge of the Indore urban area. It stands on the Malwa plateau, a broad, fairly level upland with black soil. As the city has grown, places like Bānk have shifted from village to suburb, and the map shows both characters at once.
