Cahama is a municipal seat in Cunene Province, in the far south of Angola, where the land flattens into dry savanna toward the Namibian border. Most of Cahama's population lives across a wide rural municipality, not inside the town itself, so on a map the town is small: a modest cluster of streets where roads meet on open ground.
In a monochrome print the white space is as important as the lines. A handful of streets form the centre, and longer roads head out across the plain toward other towns in the province.
