Citrus Park Map Poster & Print
Citrus Park is a community in Hillsborough County, north-west of Tampa, whose name recalls the orange groves that once covered much of this part of Florida. From above, those groves have given way to a suburban pattern of curving streets, cul-de-sacs and gated neighbourhoods, laid out around a scattering of natural lakes.
The lakes are the most striking feature of the map. Rounded and irregular, they appear throughout the area, with houses lining their shores and streets bending to follow them. Major roads cut across in straighter lines, and the regional shopping centre that shares the community's name forms a large, distinct shape near its heart.
A Citrus Park map poster shows how Florida's suburbs grow around water. The curves of the lake shores and the looping streets create a soft, rounded composition, framed by the firm lines of the main roads. For residents it is a map of everyday life, and for former residents a reminder of home.

Cul-de-sac neighbourhoods
Residential streets loop and branch into dead ends, creating the characteristic rounded pattern of Florida suburbs across much of the map.
Arterial roads
Straight main roads cross the community and link it to Tampa, giving the flowing neighbourhood pattern a clear structure.
