Corinth is a city in Denton County, Texas, on the northern side of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area and just south of Denton. Interstate 35E runs through its western part, while Lewisville Lake reaches the city on the east. Between those two edges lies a street plan typical of modern Texas suburbs, with neighbourhood loops and cul-de-sacs off a few main arterial roads.
Corinth grew mainly in the late twentieth century as the region expanded northward, and much of its layout dates from that period. From above, the curving subdivision streets form tight, rounded patterns that contrast with the long straight lines of the interstate and the older county roads that still cross the area.
The lake adds the most distinctive element of all. Lewisville Lake's irregular shoreline, with its inlets and coves, gives a Corinth map poster a soft, natural boundary opposite the hard edge of the highway, and the balance between the two makes the city surprisingly graphic on paper.
