Cranford is a township in Union County, New Jersey, about twenty miles west of Manhattan. On the map, the Rahway River is its defining feature, winding in tight loops through the centre of town with parkland along its banks. Tree-lined residential streets fill the surrounding area, and a compact downtown sits beside the railway station.
