Dumont is a small borough in Bergen County, northern New Jersey, within commuting range of Manhattan. It covers a modest area, and from above it is almost entirely residential: a close, regular grid of streets with houses on narrow lots, crossed by a few longer roads that carry traffic through the town and connect it with neighbouring boroughs.
