Fedorovskiy Map Poster & Print
Fedorovskiy is an urban-type settlement in the Surgut district of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, in the oil-producing heart of Western Siberia. The map shows a planned layout. Residential blocks are arranged in orderly groups, with wide roads between them. All around lies flat terrain covered with forest, bogs and small lakes typical of the middle Ob basin.
The settlement grew with the development of the oil fields in the region, and its name is associated with a major nearby field. Like many towns in the area, it was built to house workers and their families. Its geometry reflects that purpose, clear and functional, standing apart from the wet, uneven landscape around it.
A Fedorovskiy map poster presents that contrast directly. A neat cluster of streets sits in the middle, and a network of access roads and pipelines leads out into the taiga. The broken outlines of wetlands and lakes surround it. In a minimal black-and-white print, the settlement looks like a small grid in a vast northern space.

Wetlands and lakes
Bogs and small lakes spread across the surrounding land in irregular shapes. They fill the edges of the map with the texture of the Siberian lowland.
Field access roads
Straight service roads lead away from the settlement into the forest. They trace the links between homes and the oil fields that brought the town into being.
