Gadhra is a census town in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, close to Jamshedpur on the Chota Nagpur Plateau. On a map it appears as part of the broad urban fringe that has grown around the steel city. Village-scale lanes, newer housing and open fields sit side by side there, not in neatly separated zones.
The street pattern is informal and irregular.
