Ghazieh lies on the Mediterranean coast of south Lebanon, just south of Sidon. On a map the town is arranged along a narrow coastal strip. The shoreline marks one clean edge, the coastal highway runs parallel to it, and streets and farmland spread inland towards the rising hills.
The coastal plain here has long been known for citrus and other orchards. Their plots fill much of the space between the built-up areas, and the continuous line of towns along this coast means Ghazieh blends almost seamlessly with its neighbours.
