Gongheyong lies in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong, on the low ground east of the estuary in the Dongguan and Shenzhen area. The land here is almost perfectly flat, so the map is organised by water and roads rather than hills: small rivers and drainage channels thread between the blocks, while broad highways run in long, straight lines toward the coast and neighbouring towns.
