Hiddenhausen Map Poster & Print
Hiddenhausen is a municipality in the Herford district of North Rhine-Westphalia. It lies in the gently rolling Ravensberg hill country between the towns of Herford and Bünde. It has no single dense core. Seen from above, it is a loose constellation of settlements: residential streets clustered around old village centres, separated by fields, hedgerows and small woods, and connected by winding rural roads.
The municipality took its present form in the late 1960s, when several neighbouring villages were merged under one name. That history shows clearly on the map. Instead of a ring of boulevards around a centre, you see several small street networks, each with its own logic, sitting side by side in open countryside.
A Hiddenhausen map poster suits people who think of home as a set of places rather than a downtown. The print captures the spaces between settlements as much as the streets themselves. Field boundaries and farm tracks thread through the composition, which gives it a calm, rural rhythm that you rarely get from a city map.

Ravensberg hills
The gently undulating countryside shapes the roads, which bend around low hills and field edges rather than running straight.
Between two towns
Hiddenhausen sits between Herford and Bünde, so the edges of both neighbouring towns begin to appear toward the borders of a wider map.

Mapu okhala ndi tanthauzo
This is a map for people who know which village they belong to, even though everyone else just says Hiddenhausen. It is a quiet, understated print for a hallway or study, and a good gift for someone who has moved away from East Westphalia.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a village name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring out the softer, rural texture of the layout.
