Jambusar lies in the Bharuch district of Gujarat, on the flat land between the estuaries of the Mahi and the Narmada, a short distance from the Gulf of Khambhat. On the map, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by level farmland and scattered villages, with roads leading out toward Bharuch, Vadodara and the coast.
