Kings Park is a hamlet in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, on the North Shore of Long Island. Its northern edge meets Long Island Sound. To the east, the Nissequogue River winds through salt marsh before reaching the water. Sunken Meadow State Park lies to the west, and the Long Island Rail Road passes through the hamlet on its way east.
On a map the residential streets are dense and curving, typical of mid-twentieth-century Long Island suburbs. A small commercial area sits near the railroad station.
