Maravilha is a city in the west of Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil. The region is agricultural, with rolling hills, small farms and scattered forest, and the city sits within that landscape as a regular grid of streets that adapts where the land slopes.
From above, the centre is orderly and clearly planned, with straight streets and even blocks. At the edges, the grid gives way to rural roads that curve over the hills toward farms and neighbouring towns. Small streams and green areas break up the pattern and add softer lines.
