Okha sits at the end of the Okhamandal peninsula, the western point of the Kathiawar coast in Gujarat. On the map the town is framed by water: the Gulf of Kutch lies to the north, and the Arabian Sea opens to the west. Its streets are laid out close to the harbour, where wharves and jetties extend into the sea.
