Qorof is a town in the Somali Region of eastern Ethiopia, in the dry lowlands that stretch toward the border with Somalia. Life in this region has long revolved around livestock herding, water sources and the routes connecting towns across very large distances. The settlement is small, and on a map it appears as a modest group of streets in open land.
