Reserva is a town in the interior of Paraná, in southern Brazil, in an upland area of farms, pasture and forest. It is small and rural. The municipality is much larger than the town itself, and agriculture sets the pace of life. The urban area is a modest cluster in a wide landscape.
On the map, the town centre follows the familiar Brazilian interior pattern: a grid of straight streets around a central square, with blocks of fairly even size.
