Ribeirão Branco is a town in the south of São Paulo state, in rolling hill country not far from the border with Paraná. It is a region of farmland, patches of forest and winding rural roads, and the town itself sits compactly among the hills.
From above, the town centre has a partly regular layout, but the streets bend and break where the terrain demands it. Beyond the town, rural roads follow ridgelines, and small streams run through valleys lined with trees, which appear on the map as fine, branching lines.
