SeaTac is one of the few places whose map is defined by an airport. Seattle–Tacoma International Airport occupies a large share of the city, and its parallel north–south runways form the strongest lines on the page, long and precise, with taxiways and terminals clustered on the eastern side.
Around the airfield, International Boulevard runs north to south as a commercial spine lined with hotels and parking, while Interstate 5 passes along the eastern edge. The Link light rail follows the corridor too. Residential streets fill the rest of the city in a mostly regular grid, broken by Angle Lake, a small, rounded body of water south of the airport.
