Seseña is a municipality in the province of Toledo, just across the regional border from the Community of Madrid. Its map is unusual because the town is not one single core but several distinct settlements spread across the flat, dry plain: the historic village of Seseña, the separate nucleus of Seseña Nuevo, and the large modern residential development of El Quiñón.
The A-4 motorway, the main route between Madrid and Andalusia, passes through the municipality and shapes its layout, with the settlements positioned in relation to it.
