Severna Park lies in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, north of Annapolis. It occupies a peninsula between the Severn River and the Magothy River, both flowing into the Chesapeake Bay. Running through the community is the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail, a former railway line converted into a long walking and cycling path.
