Vadakkanandal is a town in the Kallakurichi area of northern Tamil Nadu. The land around it is agricultural, with fields, tanks and small villages, and higher hill country lies to the west. From above, the town forms a cluster of lanes and streets, with roads leading toward neighbouring settlements across the plain.
