Village core
The old centre forms a small, dense cluster of streets on the map. It is the one point where the fields and tracks around it draw together into a village.

Selonnet Map Poster & Print
Selonnet lies in the valley of the Blanche in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in the high country north of Digne. On a map the village is a small, compact group of streets beside the valley road. Fields cover the flatter ground around it, and forest climbs the slopes. The pattern is quiet and rural, shaped more by farming than by tourism.
Above the village, the small station of Chabanon offers family skiing in winter and walking in summer. This is where Provence meets the Alps, and the landscape shows it: meadows on the valley floor, larch woods higher up, and bare ridges above the tree line, under a drier sky than the northern resorts.
A Selonnet map poster shows a village surrounded by open space. Lanes and farm tracks spread from the centre into the fields, the road to the ski station climbs in bends into the forest, and small streams run down toward the Blanche. It is a gentle, uncluttered map that suits the calm of this part of Provence.

Road to Chabanon
A winding road leaves the valley and climbs through the forest to the ski station. Its bends draw a distinctive line across the upper part of the map.
Blanche valley
The valley floor opens out around the village as a band of flatter farmland, crossed by the river and framed by wooded slopes on either side.

Selonnet is the kind of place people discover through a family holiday or a small rental in the mountains, and then keep coming back to. A map of the village is a modest, personal way to keep that connection on the wall at home.
