Calp Map Poster & Print
Calp lies on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante, and its map is dominated by the Penyal d'Ifac, a huge limestone rock joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. The rock rises sharply from the sea and gives the town a landmark visible from far along the coast. On the map it forms a bold, compact shape reaching into the Mediterranean.
Between the old town and the seafront lies a shallow salt lagoon, Les Salines, a wetland where flamingos are often seen. The historic centre occupies higher ground inland, with narrow streets and traces of old walls. Modern apartment blocks and hotels line the beaches on either side of the rock, spread along the waterfront.
A Calp map poster brings these contrasts together: the rock and its isthmus, the smooth outline of the lagoon, the dense grid of the modern resort and the tighter lanes of the older town. Few coastal places offer such a clear single landmark. The poster makes the most of it.

Salt lagoon
Les Salines forms a smooth, open shape between the old town and the beaches. The wetland gives the map a calm area among the surrounding streets.
Twin beaches
Beaches curve away on both sides of the rock, backed by modern blocks and promenades. They trace the long, gentle lines of the shore.
