Clifton Map Poster & Print
Clifton is in Passaic County, New Jersey, about a dozen miles west of Manhattan. Its outline is irregular. The city wraps around neighbouring Passaic and stretches in several directions, so on a map it looks more like a patchwork of neighbourhoods than a single centred town.
Major roads provide the structure. Route 3, Route 46 and the Garden State Parkway cross the city in broad lines with large interchanges. Between them are tight residential grids, with small commercial streets and scattered parks. Toward the west, the land rises gently and the streets begin to curve.
