Mining settlements
The town is made of several districts that grew around individual mines, giving the map a clustered, uneven layout rather than one dense centre.

Dovzhansk Map Poster & Print
Dovzhansk lies in the southeast of Luhansk Oblast in Ukraine, close to the border with Russia. The town, known until 2016 as Sverdlovsk, sits on the open steppe of the Donbas, where land rises and falls in gentle ridges and shallow ravines. From above, its built-up area is spread in several clusters rather than one compact centre.
The town grew around coal mines, and the map reflects that history. Residential districts are grouped near former and working mine sites, connected by roads and rail lines that once served the collieries. Spoil heaps, industrial land and reservoirs appear among the streets, and open farmland stretches between the different parts of town.
Coal mining shaped both its economy and its layout. Since 2014, the town has been under Russian occupation. A Dovzhansk map poster shows the settlement pattern of a Donbas mining town, with its scattered districts, industrial grounds and steppe landscape all visible in a single frame.

Rail and industry
Rail lines and industrial sites run between the residential areas, adding long strokes and open industrial blocks to the street pattern.
Open steppe
Beyond the town, the map opens into rolling steppe and farmland, with shallow valleys and reservoirs forming soft shapes around the edges.
