Fountain Hills Map Poster & Print
Fountain Hills lies northeast of Phoenix in the Sonoran Desert, and its map looks unlike a typical American grid. Streets curve and loop across the hills, following washes and slopes, and many end in cul-de-sacs tucked into the terrain. The McDowell Mountains rise along the western side, and the land of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation borders the town to the east.
At the centre sits Fountain Park, with a lake and the fountain that gives the town its name. Built in 1970 by the town's developers, it sends a jet of water hundreds of feet into the air and was for years among the tallest fountains in the world. It still runs for a few minutes every hour.
A Fountain Hills map poster captures the town's organic, looping layout and its clear centre, the park and lake around which the community was planned. Against the desert, the curving streets make a pattern that is both precise and surprisingly soft.

Residents like the map because their curving street is easy to find, and visitors remember the fountain at its centre. The shape is distinctive enough to look good even to people who have never been.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a move-in date or a family name, and edit the coordinates line. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the desert setting.
