Moscavide e Portela Map Poster & Print
Moscavide e Portela is a parish in the municipality of Loures, on Lisbon's northeastern edge. On a map it combines two very different patterns. Moscavide is a tightly packed older district of narrow streets and small blocks that has grown organically. Portela, next to it, is a planned residential estate from the late twentieth century, laid out with wide gaps and regularly spaced towers.
The parish lies between Lisbon Airport and the Parque das Nações, the riverside district built for Expo 98. Wide roads and rail lines border it, and the Tagus estuary is just beyond. This setting makes it one of the most connected neighbourhoods in greater Lisbon, even if it stays mainly residential.
A Moscavide e Portela map poster shows the contrast plainly. The fine-grained old streets sit on one side, and the geometric layout of Portela with its open spaces sits on the other. Major infrastructure lines frame both, which makes the print quietly architectural.

Planned Portela
Wide spaces, regular roads and repeated tower footprints mark the planned estate. On the map it has a clear, almost diagrammatic order.
Infrastructure edges
The airport, main roads and rail line border the parish. The Tagus waterfront of Parque das Nações is close by, and together they frame the composition firmly.
