Péfki is a suburb in the northern part of the Athens urban area, bordered by Marousi, Lykovrysi and Irakleio. Its name means pine in Greek, and the trees still give the area much of its character. On a map it shows as a mostly residential district of low-rise streets, with more space and green than the denser neighbourhoods closer to central Athens.
The street pattern is a mix of short grids and curving roads that follow the slight slope of the ground.
