Senirkent is a district town in Isparta province, in the area of south-western Turkey known as the Lakes Region. From above, the town lies where steep mountain ground meets a flatter plain. The street pattern reflects this. The upper streets are short and follow the slope, while the lower part of town opens onto a more regular layout.
Streams come down from the mountain behind the town, and their valleys are visible as creases in the terrain above the houses. Below the town, the plain is divided into fields and orchards, with roads running out in straight lines toward the neighbouring villages and the lakes further along the region.
