Dongcun Map Poster & Print
Dongcun lies in eastern Shandong Province, on the Jiaodong Peninsula between the Bohai and Yellow seas. It is an urban centre within the Yantai area. On a map it appears as a fairly compact grid of streets surrounded by farmland, villages and gentle hills, rather than a sprawling metropolis.
The layout is typical of a planned Chinese town that has grown quickly in recent decades. Straight main roads divide the centre into large blocks filled with residential compounds, schools and public buildings. Towards the edges the grid loosens, and field boundaries, irrigation lines and village lanes take over. The result is a gradual shift from city to countryside across the map.
A Dongcun map poster is a portrait of a place at human scale: the streets someone walks to school or work, the roads out to relatives in nearby villages, the direction of the coast. Its simplicity is part of the appeal, because the structure of the town is easy to take in at a glance.

Town-to-country edge
Around the built-up area, the dense street network gives way to fields and scattered villages, so the poster shows both the town and the land around it.
Peninsula setting
Dongcun belongs to the Jiaodong Peninsula of eastern Shandong, a landscape of low hills and small rivers that appear as fine lines where they cross the map.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Maps of smaller cities are often the most personal. A Dongcun poster might mark a family home, a first apartment or the place someone left to study elsewhere. Write a family name, a street or a year into the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line to the exact spot.
The five styles give the same streets different moods: Classic black & white and Noir for contrast, Paper and Sand for warmth, Blueprint for a technical look. The $9 digital download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
