Irrigation channels cross the plain in long, purposeful lines. They are the threads that hold the rural landscape together, and they are clearly visible around the town.

Jalolquduq Map Poster & Print
Jalolquduq lies in Uzbekistan's Andijan Region, in the eastern part of the Fergana Valley. This is one of Central Asia's most densely farmed landscapes. On the map, the town has a fairly regular street layout, and the land around it is divided by irrigation canals into long strips of cotton, grain and orchard.
Water decides everything here. Channels drawn from the valley's rivers run across the plain, and field edges, roads and village lines often follow them. The result is a patchwork that looks almost engineered from above. Mountains rise on the valley's rim, beyond the frame of a town-scale map.
A Jalolquduq map poster brings this order to the page. The town's streets make a compact core, and the canals and field lines around it add a fine, repeating texture. It is a map about cultivation as much as settlement, and it looks distinctive in every one of the five styles.

Field patchwork
Farm plots, orchards and village lanes cover the land in a close, regular mosaic. They give the edges of the poster a rich but orderly texture.
Planned centre
The town's streets follow a mostly straight arrangement. That gives the composition a firm centre against the finer rural pattern surrounding it.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
For families from the Andijan Region, a map of Jalolquduq is a precise and unsentimental picture of home, down to the canals that watered the fields. The fine detail rewards a closer look and works well in larger sizes.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be customised, including with Uzbek or Russian lettering. Pick one of five styles and download the $9 HD files, or order a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
