Bharatpur Map Poster & Print
Bharatpur lies in the Chitwan district in Nepal's inner Terai, a broad lowland valley between the hills. The Narayani River runs along its western side, and the city has grown quickly at the meeting of major highways, including the East–West Highway, spreading over flat land that was once largely forest and farmland.
The city is close to Chitwan National Park, known for its one-horned rhinoceroses and tigers, and it has become an important regional centre for trade, health care and education. Narayangarh, on the riverbank, forms the older commercial heart of the urban area.
A Bharatpur map poster shows a city shaped by flat ground and roads. Long highway lines cross the plain, a grid of streets extends from the centre, and the wide channels of the Narayani give the western edge a strong natural border.

Highway junction
Major roads meet in Bharatpur and Narayangarh, and they appear as bold strokes crossing the plain, connecting the city with Kathmandu and the rest of the Terai.
Flat-plain grid
On the level ground, streets extend in a fairly regular pattern, a clear contrast to the hill towns of Nepal and a distinctive feature of the map.
