Bracebridge Map Poster & Print
Bracebridge is the main town of the District Municipality of Muskoka in Ontario, in the lake country north of Toronto. The Muskoka River runs through the middle of town and drops over falls right beside the historic centre, so the river is the natural spine of the map, with the main street climbing up from the water.
Away from the core, the street pattern is shaped by the Canadian Shield: roads curve around rocky ridges, wetlands and small lakes, and the edges of the map dissolve into forest and water. Highway 11 passes along the west side of town as a long, smooth line, a contrast to the irregular local streets.
The town sits on the 45th parallel, halfway between the equator and the North Pole, a fact it has long used in its identity, including through its well-known Santa's Village. A Bracebridge map poster holds all of this: falls, river, highway and the scattered water that defines Muskoka.

Shield lakes and wetlands
Irregular lakes, ponds and marshes surround the town, cutting into the street network and giving the edges of the print an organic shape.
Highway 11 bypass
The highway sweeps past the west side of town in long curves, a clean line that contrasts with the winding local roads around it.

Zakaj Bracebridge
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Cottage country is a place people return to every summer for decades, and a map of Bracebridge is a fitting reminder of the drive north, the falls and the lakes. It works well in a cabin, but equally in a city apartment.
Add a family name, a cottage address or a year in the title and subtitle, adjust the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files or order a printed, optionally framed poster.
