Highway spine
The main road through town is the backbone of the map. Most streets branch from it, giving the print a clear line from edge to edge.

Burē Map Poster & Print
Burē lies in the West Gojjam highlands of the Amhara Region. The town has grown along the main road north toward Bahir Dar. On a map its streets branch from that spine into residential blocks and then give way to farmland. Small streams and field paths cross the plateau.
The town is a trading centre for a productive farming district. In recent years it has been chosen as the site of an agro-industrial park meant to process crops from the surrounding area. That adds larger planned plots to the edges of the older settlement.
A Burē map poster shows a road town in the Ethiopian highlands. The main road is the strongest line on the sheet, with the town's side streets growing from it. Larger new plots and scattered rural lanes set the scene around it.

Branching side streets
Residential lanes spread out from the road in an informal pattern. They add a finer texture that thins out toward the fields.
Plateau farmland
Around the town, paths and small streams cross cultivated highland. They give the edges of the composition a loose, organic character.
