Planned street grid
The central neighbourhoods are laid out in almost regular rectangular blocks, left over from organised land sales, which gives the heart of the map a calm, even texture.

Cambé Map Poster & Print
Cambé lies on the gently rolling plateau of northern Paraná, directly west of Londrina, and on a map the two cities almost touch. The core follows a regular grid of blocks, the kind laid out quickly during the planned settlement of this region in the first half of the twentieth century. Newer neighbourhoods extend the pattern outward in patches set at slightly different angles.
Land companies opened up the area by selling lots to settlers, many of them European immigrants, and farming on the region's well-known red soil shaped the early economy. The town's first name, Nova Dantzig, comes from that period of settlement. Today the main roads and the industrial areas along the route to Londrina define much of the town's edge.
A Cambé map poster shows a place where city blocks give way suddenly to fields. Around the dense grid run the thin lines of rural roads, small streams cutting shallow valleys through the plateau, and the long road linking the town to its larger neighbour. The image is restrained and orderly, and it says a good deal about how this part of Brazil was built.

Edge with Londrina
To the east, Cambé's streets run almost without a break into the western districts of Londrina, so the map shows a town reaching toward a larger city along the main road.
Streams and farmland
Small streams cut shallow green corridors between neighbourhoods. Past the last streets, a pattern of rural roads marks the farmland that has surrounded the town since it was founded.

Zakaj Cambé
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For families with roots in northern Paraná, Cambé is often the town of first houses, schools and weekends with relatives. A clean map of its grid makes a personal piece without relying on a photograph, and it sits well next to a poster of Londrina or another place in the family story.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a surname, a year or a street. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files for $9, or order a matte print shipped from a nearby print partner.
