Lago Igapó
An artificial lake that snakes through the southern part of the city. Its narrow arms and parkland banks form the most fluid shape in an otherwise gridded composition.

Londrina Map Poster & Print
Londrina is a young city by Brazilian standards. It was founded in the early 1930s by a British-backed land company that opened northern Paraná to coffee farming, and its name, meaning little London, recalls those origins. The plan shows this at once: a regular grid of streets spreading out from a central core across gently rolling land known for the region's dark red soil.
The most striking feature from above is Lago Igapó, an artificial lake that winds through the south side of the city in a long, narrow chain. Its curves soften the blocks around it, and parkland along its banks leaves a pale ribbon on the map. Beyond it, newer neighbourhoods spread outward in grids set at slightly different angles to the original plan.
Highways cross and circle the city, and the airport appears as a clean shape to the southeast. A Londrina map poster brings these pieces together: the orderly founding grid, the flowing line of the lake and the looser suburbs at the edges. You can see how a planned frontier town grew into one of the largest inland cities of southern Brazil.

Founding grid
The original centre follows a regular pattern of perpendicular streets, a direct trace of the 1930s settlement plan that shaped the city from its first years.
Shifting suburban grids
Newer districts extend the grid outward but at varying orientations, so the edges of the map show several street patterns meeting at angles.

Zakaj Londrina
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Londrina carries a story many families share: migration to the coffee frontier, a town built from nothing, a lake where weekends were spent. For those with roots here, the map turns that story into a clear image of the place itself.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, whether with a street name, a year of arrival or a short dedication. Pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Blueprint, and choose between a $9 digital download and a printed poster.
