Daphne Map Poster & Print
Daphne is a city in Baldwin County, Alabama, on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. It calls itself the Jubilee City after the jubilee, an unusual natural event in which fish, crabs and shrimp crowd into the shallows along the bay's eastern shore, sometimes in large numbers, usually in the early hours of summer mornings.
On a map, the bay defines everything. The western edge of the city is a long, gently curving shoreline, with piers extending into the water and US Highway 98 running parallel a short distance inland. To the north, the Interstate 10 bayway crosses the upper bay on long causeways toward Mobile. Inland, residential neighbourhoods spread in curving streets and cul-de-sacs.
A Daphne map poster sets the broad blank of Mobile Bay against the fine texture of the city's streets. The shoreline gives the composition a strong, natural edge, and the piers add small, precise details along it. It is a relaxed, coastal print for residents, former residents and anyone who knows the eastern shore.

Piers and waterfront
Small piers reach out from the shore into the bay, adding fine linear details along the coastline that reward a closer look.
Inland neighbourhoods
East of the waterfront, residential streets form curving loops and cul-de-sacs, a gentle suburban pattern that contrasts with the straight highways.
