Ellendale Map Poster & Print
Ellendale is a community in Shelby County, Tennessee, in the suburban area northeast of Memphis, near Bartlett. It has no traditional downtown. Its map is made up of residential subdivisions with curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs, arranged between a few larger roads that carry traffic toward the city and neighbouring suburbs.
Wooded creek corridors run through the area and create green strips between groups of houses, and on a map they appear as winding, unbuilt bands. Schools, churches and small commercial clusters sit along the main roads. The overall pattern is the typical one of a mid-South suburb: organic street shapes inside a loose frame of straight arterials.
Ellendale is part of the wider Memphis metropolitan area, and many residents commute into the city or to nearby suburbs. An Ellendale map poster shows the shape of a Tennessee suburb as residents know it, with neighbourhood loops, creeks and the roads that connect them to the rest of Shelby County.
